ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. If you are a guest, please fill out a Connect with Leidy’s Card and visit the Welcome Desk outside of the Sanctuary.
2. As you partner with us in the work of the Kingdom, please place your gifts and offerings in the Get Connected pillars.
3. Leidy’s Church Auction happens this Saturday! All auction items must be in the office by Tuesday. You can pick up a donation slip at the Welcome Desk. Childcare is provided at 6:30 for the Live Auction.
4. Take time to view the auction preview table in the narthex. It has a variety of items that have been donated and that will be up for bidding on April 26th. You can be the owner of them if you are the highest bidder!
5. No copy of the cookbook? Good news! A second edition is in the works. The cost of each book is $25. If you would like to get one, please get your name on the list our smiling and helpful secretaries are compiling.
6. Trying to plan out your summer? Well, here are a couple of weeks some of the more skilled of you might want to work into your summer plans. Brian Radcliff is planning two work weeks on the Carriage House down at Life Turning Point Philly. Those weeks are: July 21-25/6 and August 11-15/6. Speak with Brian for more details. He can use your help!
7. Share God's Love Through a Home Cooked Meal. Do you love cooking and caring for others? Our Meal Ministry is a simple but powerful way to bless those in our church family who are going through a difficult time. Sometimes life makes cooking challenging - and that's where you can help. If you’re interested, sign up via the on-line newsletter or the church office at 215-723-8707.
8. Missions Trip - Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic - Join Leidy’s Church in the Dominican: August 6-13th! Opportunities may include Bible School, sports camps and/or construction-type missions work depending on the volunteers we get. All participants must have a passport.
9. Ladies of Leidy's will be having their tea on May 17th. The following items are needed to make this a successful event: 15 - 3 tier round serving stands (without the pole in the center), 15 – hot water carafes. If we would be able to borrow any of these items please contact Alice Kraus at 267-261-8543 or kraus_alice@yahoo.com. Thank you!
10. Missions Committee – There is one card left to be signed. You will find it on the counter in the office.
11. The Rummage Sale is just around the corner, the week of May 5th. Check with Mary Beth Musselman to see where you can help, whether it is with set-up, during the actual sale or pack-up on Thursday evening. Many hands make light work!
