1. If you are new here and would like to know more about Jesus, Leidy’s Church, and how to get connected, please fill out the Connect with Leidy’s Card and put it in the Get Connected pillars on the left-hand side of the doors when you leave the sanctuary.
2. As you partner with us in the work of the Kingdom, please place your gifts and offerings in the Get Connected pillars.
3. The Rummage Sale is around the corner on Wednesday, May 8th and Thursday, May 9th. We need your help to set up on Monday and Tuesday, May 6th and 7 from 9-8. We also need workers during the sale on Wednesday from 9-8 and on Thursday ($3 a bag day). Pack-up begins at 6 pm on Thursday. See Mary Beth Musselman or you can check the weekly newsletter to sign-up.
4. Preparations for a Baptism service are being made. If there is anyone who has never been baptized and is interested in being baptized by immersion, please contact the church office to indicate your interest and an interview will be arranged.
5. A Breakfast will be held this Thursday and will be hosted by Global Disciples at the Franconia Heritage banquet center. It begins at 6am and there is no charge, though a freewill offering will be taken. The focus will be on the Persecuted Church. If you would like to attend, please contact the church office or speak with John Niederhaus.
6. A Big “Thank You” to everyone who helped with last evening’s Auction! Thanks to all the bidders and buyers as well as the many people who worked behind the scenes.
7. Join the Wilwert Sisters & friends for a concert this Saturday evening beginning at 6:30 to benefit Light Shall Dawn Network. There will be folk music, including gospel, old classics, blues, harp, praise music and more. Admission is free but a free will offering will be taken.
8. Men’s Bible Study meets this Friday morning at 5:30. See Dave Doran if you have any questions.
9. The BMCE Business & Professional Breakfast takes place on Thursday, May 9th at 6:30. It will be a buffet breakfast with a ticket cost of $20. Special speaker is Terry Derstine, organizer of the Hope Sweatshirt event each September. Find out how the Lord led him through very difficult circumstances to begin that ministry. Tickets are available from the church office, Jack Parry, or John Niederhaus.
