1. If you are new here and would like to know more about Jesus, Leidy’s Church, and how to get connected, please fill out the Connect with Leidy’s Card and put it in the Get Connected pillars on the left-hand side of the doors when you leave the sanctuary.
2. As you partner with us in the work of the Kingdom, please place your gifts and offerings in the Get Connected pillars.
3. Pastor Appreciation Luncheon – We are gathering together after church this morning for a hearty meal with wonderful fellowship and good cheer. There is a basket in the narthex for cards. We hope to see you there!!
4. Operation Christmas Child boxes can be found at different locations around the church. Don’t forget this year’s return-by-date is Sunday, November 3rd, which is coming up fast, so please return your boxes sooner rather than later. Thanks for helping.
5. Zion Choral Choir will be at Good Shepherd UCC in Boyertown next Sunday, October 27th the concert begins at 3:00.
6. O.A.S.I.S Fall Potluck Luncheon happens this Thursday from 11:30 - 1:30. Bring your favorite dish to share. Signup via the church app or on the sheet in the narthex.
7. Outdoor Worship Service - Friday, October 25th at 6:00pm. Join us for a special outdoor worship service in the field across from the parsonage! Bring your own chair and gather around the warmth of the bonfire as we come together in fellowship and faith. Enjoy uplifting music, meaningful reflection, and a chance to connect with nature and one another. Let’s celebrate our community under the open sky—don’t miss this unique worship experience!
8. Do you live in a High-traffic area? We have plenty of yard signs for our Craft Show on Nov 23rd...so help us get the word out!! Two sizes of print available...depending on the how fast people drive by your house! Stop by the office and please put a sign up for us!
9. New Women's Sunday School Class - Grateful - a new class begins October 27th and will go through the month of November. We’ll be focusing on the biblical basis of living with a grateful heart so that we are motivated to thank God in all things, regardless of life circumstances.
10. If you thought that mailboxes are just for members, think again. If you would like a mailbox please contact the church office. We will be glad to give you one.
11. Voting Information is important. The PA Family Institute has a website where you may see what your ballot will contain, where your polling place is located, and how to register if you’ve not yet done so. (Tomorrow, Oct. 21st, is the final day for registration if you want to vote in this year’s election.) That website is: www.pafamilyvoter.com where you will find a wealth of helpful information. Explore it a bit and prepare to cast your vote on November 5th.
12. Leidy’s Church will be hosting the Zion Choral Choir on Sunday, November 17th and we’re looking for volunteers to help with various tasks during the concert! Opportunities include greeting attendees, ushering, providing door security, collecting the offering, assisting with parking, shuttling rides from the old church building, and providing snacks.
