ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. If you are new here and would like to know more about Jesus, Leidy’s Church, and how to get connected, please fill out the Connect with Leidy’s Card and put it in the Get Connected pillars on the left-hand side of the doors when you leave the sanctuary.
2. As you partner with us in the work of the Kingdom, please place your gifts and offerings in the Get Connected pillars.
3. A great big “Thank You” to all who helped make this week’s Rummage Sale a success. We made $7,837 and more is coming in.
4. There will be a Congregational Meeting after the service of worship this morning. We will be electing three new Elders to our Spiritual Council and three men to Consistory. Your participation is vital as we seek to strengthen our leadership and guidance within the church.
5. Prayer Meeting this Thursday beginning at 7:00pm in Rm. 211. Join us for a time of prayer!
6. Pastor Appreciation Luncheon - Pastor Darren has served us humbly for these past months. As a way of showing our appreciation there will be a Pastor’s Appreciation Luncheon next Sunday. We’ll gather together after church for a hearty meal with wonderful fellowship and good cheer. There is a basket in the narthex for cards. We hope to see you there!!
7. Operation Christmas Child boxes can be found at different locations around the church. This year’s return-by-date is Sunday, November 3rd. Thanks for helping.
8. Zion Choral Choir will be at Good Shepherd UCC in Boyertown on Sunday, October 27th the concert begins at 3:00.
9. O.A.S.I.S Fall Potluck Luncheon – Thursday, October 24th, 11:30 - 1:30. Bring your favorite dish to share. Signup via the church app or on the sheet in the narthex.
10. Outdoor Worship Service - Friday, October 25th at 6:00pm. Join us for a special outdoor worship service in the field across from the parsonage! Bring your own chair and gather around the warmth of the bonfire as we come together in fellowship and faith. Enjoy uplifting music, meaningful reflection, and a chance to connect with nature and one another. Let’s celebrate our community under the open sky—don’t miss this unique worship experience!
11. Do you live in a High-traffic area? We have plenty of yard signs for our Craft Show on Nov 23rd...so help us get the word out!! Two sizes of print available...depending on the how fast people drive by your house! Stop by the office and please put a sign up for us!
12. Elections are around the corner and if you need to register to vote the deadline is coming up fast. You are encouraged to go to PA Family Institute’s website at www.pafamily.org where there are many resources. You can register to vote. You can find out exactly what be on the ballot you will see at your voting place. In fact, you will be able to find out exactly where you should go to vote!
