ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. If you are new here and would like to know more about Jesus, Leidy’s Church, and how to get connected, please fill out the Connect with Leidy’s Card and put it in the Get Connected pillars on the left-hand side of the doors when you leave the sanctuary.

2. As you partner with us in the work of the Kingdom, please place your gifts and offerings in the Get Connected pillars.

3. Sign Ups Are Up! Our summer SLMT sign-up sheets are on the narthex wall. The weeks we’ll be going down are July 22-27 and August 5-10. Note, those weeks include the Saturday. There are plans to take a team down on Saturday, July 13th. That sign-up sheet is also posted. Departure time from the church is 7am with a return between 4:30 and 5. More details will be forthcoming when you sign up. If you cannot make the whole week, please indicate the days when you can make it. Thanks!

4. The American Legion Color Guard will be at the Leidy’s Church Cemetery tomorrow around 8:25am for anyone who would like to be present. There will be a Color Guard salute, taps, and a prayer.

5. A New Sunday School Class will be starting next Sunday called Financial Peace. The class will last 8 or 9 weeks and will cover a Biblical perspective on how to save and invest, as well as generously give the money God blesses you with. Please call the church office to register in advance for this class.

6. The “Yes” Movie Night takes place this Friday beginning at 6:30 with dinner, movie starting at 7:00 in the Fellowship Hall. Cost is $10 per person/max $40 per family, 5 and under are free. There will be hot dogs and walking tacos.

7. Women’s Sunday School – A new class will begin on June 9th and meeting throughout the summer with a seven-session study, When You Pray. This video teaching will help you study six prayers in the Bible that can inspire your own. You are welcome every week or whenever you are available.

8. Donations needed for Cameron Gillis for his Boy Scout Eagle Project. He will be creating a flower bed and building benches at the side entrance of the church. See Cameron on how you can donate to his project.

9. Next Sunday the young adults are invited to meet at Lake Nockamixon at 3pm for a time of food, fellowship and activities. Contact Justin Coal for more info.

10. Flowers are placed by Nelda Metzler in loving memory of her husband Elvin.

11. We are gathering a list of individuals or couples interested in helping with youth group snacks. If that is something that would interest you, please provide your contact information to Susan Merritt at susanjeanelle@gmail.com or cell is 215-692-4423.
