ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. If you are new here and would like to know more about Jesus, Leidy’s Church, and how to get connected, please fill out the Connect with Leidy’s Card and put it in the Get Connected pillars on the left-hand side of the doors when you leave the sanctuary.

2. As you partner with us in the work of the Kingdom, please place your gifts and offerings in the Get Connected pillars.

3. The candle of Joy is lighted on the Advent Wreath today. The angel told the shepherds he brought good news of great joy which would be for all people. The good news being that the Savior was born. One cannot and should not consider the birth of the Son of God apart from the joy He brings into the lives of real people by His work of redemption.

4. Christmas Eve Service - December 24 at 5:00PM. Join us for a special worship service where we’ll reflect on Scripture, sing beloved carols and songs, and end the evening with a candlelight singing of Silent Night. We invite you to share in this celebration of Jesus birth.

5. Double Your Dollar Campaign Continues! Every dollar you give during December will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $25,000 to our Renovation Fund. We hope to reach $50,000—or more—by December 31! We ask that your Double Your Dollar gift be in addition to your regular generous giving by using the Renovation Fund Envelope or a Second Mile Offering Envelope and indicate Renovation Fund. Let’s finish this year with a spirit of generosity and gratitude! You can give online at https://leidyschurch.churchcenter.com/giving, by mail, or in person.

6. Leidy’s Church Congregational Luncheon & Meeting will take place on Sunday, January 11th after the service of worship. At this meeting a budget will be adopted for 2025. A copy of the budget will be posted on the narthex wall before the meeting.

7. Boxed offering envelopes is one of the many ways to give your tithes and offerings. If you have had them in the past, your 2025 box will be in your mailbox by next Sunday. If you are a non-member and would like a box of envelopes to use for 2025, please contact the church office or Mary Beth Musselman.

8. Join us for our Carols & Songs Service! This evening beginning at 6:00. Celebrate the season with timeless carols, songs, and Scripture readings that highlight the anticipation and retelling of Jesus’ birth story. Bring your family and friends for this special evening.

9. Thank you from the Heebner family for the many cards and prayers since the passing of Josh’s father, Roger. They were very much appreciated.

10. There will be a prayer meeting this Wednesday beginning at 7:00 in the Fellowship Hall.

11. Today is the last day to purchase a poinsettia. You will find order slips at the Welcome Desk. Simply fill out the slip, place it in a pew envelope with cash or check, and drop it in one of the collection pillars.

12. Hallelujah!! The 23 tons of rice to the two churches in Gaza was delivered this past Thursday. The semi that took the 20+ pallets of rice into Gaza made it safely through all hazards. Now, Holy Family Parish and St. Porphyry Orthodox churches will be serving communal meals to the hundreds of folk who have been sheltering in the churches since the October 2023 massacre in Israel. Praise be to God! Thank you, Lord Jesus, for allowing Leidy’s church a small part in bringing the rice to Gaza.

13. From By & Dottie Rimmer: We would like to thank everyone for all the cards, phone calls, and especially the meals we received during the last couple of weeks. We are so blessed to be a part of such a loving congregation.

14. The flowers are placed by Elaine Greene in loving memory of family members.
