1. If you are new here and would like to know more about Jesus, Leidy’s Church, and how to get connected, please fill out the Get Connected Card and put it in the Get Connected pillars on the left-hand side of the doors when you leave the sanctuary.
2. As you partner with us in the work of the Kingdom, please place your gifts and offerings in the Get Connected pillars.
3. Bakers needed to bake for the auction to provide desserts as part of the food concession. Bakers’ choice, make whatever you would like. Drop off Friday afternoon or Saturday before the auction. Questions call the office.
4. The Spring Blood Drive happens this Thursday, April 18th from 12-7. Someone will be the narthex to get you signed up for a time slot.
5. Check out the table in the Narthex, the one with some items that will be available at the SLMT Auction. Let it serve as a reminder that: 1) lots of good items will be available; 2) you might want to provide an item for the Auction if you’ve not done so already; and 3) to clear your calendar for Saturday, April 27th, for the SLMT Auction. Doors open at 4:30 with lots of food available and the live Auction begins at 6:30.
6. Adult supervision needed for childcare during the Auction. If you can help, please contact Mary Beth Musselman or the church office. Thank you.
7. A Breakfast will be held on May 2nd and will be hosted by Global Disciples at the Franconia Heritage banquet center. It begins at 6am and there is no charge, though a freewill offering will be taken. The focus will be on the Persecuted Church. If you would like to attend, please contact the church office or speak with John Niederhaus.
8. There is only one more mulching and weeding opportunity for you to make our grounds attractive this Spring. The date is April 20, times are 8:00-12:00. Talk to Brian Radcliff if you have any questions.
9. Men’s Bible Study meets this Friday morning at 5:30am in the Youth Room. If you have any questions, see Dave Doran.
10. The BMCE Business & Professional Breakfast takes place on Thursday, May 11th at 6:30. It will be a buffet breakfast with a ticket cost of $20. Special speaker is Terry Derstine, organizer of the Hope Sweatshirt event each September. Find out how the Lord led him through very difficult circumstances to begin that ministry. Tickets are available from the church office, Jack Parry, or John Niederhaus.
