Shine as Lights in the World

This week’s sermon title is “Shine as Lights in the World.” God is working in believers His salvation and we are to work out what God is working in us. When we faithfully do, we clearly illuminate the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This working out of our salvation is not easy; in fact, it can be very costly and hard because we battle against a corrupt world, sinful flesh, and attacks of the devil. Despite this, we can rejoice that God is working in us to shine for His glory as witnesses of Christ’s saving work. Let us shine for Jesus, the Light of the world!
Scripture References: Philippians 2:12-18, Luke 1:67-79, Isaiah 61:1-3
