THE SERMON TITLE this morning is The Covenant Prosecutor. Throughout the history of the church (and world) people have been interested in prophecy. People have longed to know what the future holds. However, that is not the only purpose Biblical prophecy fulfills. Throughout the Scriptures, Biblical prophets not only foretold events they also forthtold events. This is to say that they interpreted the actions of the people in light of the commands of Scripture. Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit they often served as prosecutors highlighting Israel’s infidelity. They do the same for us today.
CHEF TONY is in need of some help with the Shepherd’s Breakfast Meeting on Saturday, September 12th. If you are able to give a hand, contact Chef Tony or the church office.
RALLY DAY HAPPENS NEXT SUNDAY! A fresh, hot breakfast will be served beginning at 8:30. Each class will meet its teachers for the coming year, and kids entering first grade will receive a Bible. Everyone is invited to the festivities.

We would love to have all our children being prayed for.

BMCE SPONSORS BUS TRIP to Franklin Graham’s Prayer March. Saturday, September 26th is the date. BMCE has chartered a Perkiomen coach to take people to the Prayer March. Cost is $40 p/person. The coach will leave from the Leidy’s Church parking lot at 7:30am. Information regarding the Prayer Walk may be found at https://prayermarch2020.com. The March will begin at the Lincoln Memorial and end at the Capitol Building, a total of 1.8 miles, so be prepared to walk and pray! Franklin Graham has said: “I’m going to . . . our nation’s capital to pray—and I hope thousands of families, pastors, and churches will join me! Our nation is in trouble, and we need God’s help . . . We need to pray now more than ever . . . Our communities are hurting, our people are divided, and there’s fear and uncertainty all around us . . . So let’s join together and do the most important thing, and that is to pray.” To register for this trip, please call the Leidy’s Church office at 215-723-8707. Seating is limited, so call sooner rather than later. Registrations will close Sept. 17th.
