News and announcements from the Immanuel Leidy's Church community.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Huxley Harris, Laura Heebner, Kendall Musselman, John Niederhaus 3rd; Annalee Moyer 4th; Andrew Heebner, Kelly Wilwert 6th; Mike Hughes 7th; Dean Kulp, Eden Vogelzang 8th.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! Lee and Georgi Kirkpatrick 3rd; Carl and Jerri Thompson 5th; Rob and Tracy Shelton 7th; Norm and Donna Weiss 8th.

THE SERMON TITLE this morning is Know These Things. We live in tumultuous times. The nations are unsettled. There is deepening oppression in China. North Korea continues to act irrationally. The entire Middle East pulsates with hatred. In the Americas, no one can figure who belongs where. And Europe is a basket case. Things were no better in the first century. Therefore, as God sends a message to seven particular churches, He grounds them about matters that must be known. This concerns the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ. People today still need to know these foundational truths about Jesus.

NEXT SUNDAY is World Communion Sunday. Leidy’s Church will include the Lord’s Supper in our worship service.

  • Today – Steve Radcliff
  • Oct. 6 – Dave Reich
  • Oct. 13 – Denny Barger
