"TLC Groups" is the name for our small group discipleship ministry. TLC Groups meet regularly at various members' homes, and are discussion-oriented. They are a great opportunity to develop friendships with others while growing in your relationship with the Lord.

Small is BIG at Leidy’s Church!

            Small is BIG when you are talking about the T.L.C. Growth Groups here at Leidy’s Church. The T.L.C. Growth Groups have spiritually and relationally impacted our local congregation in numerous ways. A T.L.C. Growth Group leader comments, “One of the highlights has been our prayer time and the challenge to be consistent in reaching out to those around us who need the LORD. The group has provided good accountability for one another in that area.” Another group leader said, “ We look forward to our meetings together. Everyone involved in our group contributes by sharing and caring for one another. We have grown so much in our friendships that a greater openness and fellowship has developed and no one wants to miss our meetings”. Other members attending T.L.C. Growth Groups have said that their groups provide an environment for discussing spiritual truths from God’s Word on a deeper level, which has caused them to grow spiritually and become more involved in the life of the church and its ministries.

            The purpose of T.L.C. Growth Groups can be described by the following major points:

1. The T.L.C. Growth Group ministry provides spiritual nurturing through Bible study, prayer, and fellowship in a small group setting.
2. The T.L.C. Growth Groups focus on building up one another in faith so that we become faithful followers of Christ, fruitful in ministry service and in fellowship with one another. Meeting in members’ homes provides a relaxed atmosphere that fosters mutual love, sharing, and accountability.
3. The T.L.C. Growth Groups promote the spreading of the gospel in the community in which they meet as group members reach out to their neighbors.

4.   The T.L.C. Growth Groups meet either weekly or bi-weekly in geographic areas throughout the Bucks-Mont region.

            Possibly this is the first time you have heard about the T.L.C. Growth Groups and you would like to find out more. Maybe you would be interested in joining a group today. Existing groups are looking for new members to join them and new groups will be starting up this winter. The T.L.C. Growth Groups span all age groups. They meet in homes all around our geographic area. They are designed to be small groups that build you up in the Christian faith and provide an informal atmosphere for fellowship and meaningful discussion for you and your family. For your convenience we have placed a sign-up sheet in the narthex so that you can take the first step. We will follow-up by contacting you to inform you on how you can get plugged in to a T.L.C.
